Why You Should Work For Money

Money usually does not come free, most of us have to work for it.

Even if you get money without working, it almost always feels better and is more biblical to work for it.

In my opinion, the main two ways people make money “without” working is stock trading and YouTube.

What I just said may shock you, and when I heard this it shocked me too, but I do not believe this is true.

Some people believe that working on a computer by clicking buttons is not ethical, but this is not true at all.

Working on a computer as a job usually requires a large amount of studying beforehand. 

1. YouTube

YouTube is a great method of making a little bit of extra cash.

Though it is harder to make money on YouTube now then it was ten years ago.

With a little bit of research, you can start a channel on anything you want, preferably one of your hobbies.

It is always best to choose a hobby of yours to start a YouTube channel on because you will have fun doing it.

2. Mowing

Mowing is one of the most common ways you hear to make extra money. It is a great way to make money.

Why?

Well because of the fact that lots of people don’t like to mow their lawn and you probably don’t have to buy very much equipment.

Most of us already have mowers and neighbors to pay us.

3. Small Business

Most of us have heard of someone in our neighborhood starting a pet cleaning business or setting up a lemonade stand for fun, but it’s not that bad of an idea.

I’m sure that at some point in your life you have come up with a plan of starting a lemonade stand when you were younger.

Now, most people look at that as some fun thing kids can do, but you should take inspiration from it and come up with your own ideas.

4. House Cleaning

One thing I especially don’t like doing is cleaning up a mess, vacuuming floors, or dusting shelves.

This is a mutual feeling for most of us, (probably) but not all of us.

Thankfully some people like to clean and that is great for them.

There are some people in my area who charge twenty-five dollars an hour to clean a house. 

Cleaning other people’s houses is a great way to make extra money or be your small business. 

5. Handyman Joe

We all know that person who seems like he can fix anything or at least help with anything.

If you have expertise in an area and you know of someone who needs help you should ask them if you can fix it for them.

Lots of times I wrongly pass up opportunities like this because I’m being lazy.

So next time opportunity knocks answer it with an “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart…”. Colossians 3:23
