The definition of WWJD in these crazy times is surprising.
Jesus On Earth
When Jesus Christ came to earth to wash away our sins he set an example that is perfect for our lives now.
Christ did not always obey the authorities, but he did obey THE Authority (God).
In Mark 12:17 Jesus said, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
In saying this, Jesus put it perfectly for what we are going through right now.
The government (Caesar) should have absolutely no power over the church.
The church is a place to worship our Creator, not a place to be fearful of man.
Even If…
Even If these unconstitutional laws are being laid out we should still be able to meet, and if the state won’t let us under the conditions now we should make a wise decision for the future.
Right now John MacArthur’s, Grace Church is meeting despite the order given by the governor.
I believe wholeheartedly what Pastor MacArthur did was the most biblical thing he could do.
At this point, he has an incredible amount of pressure on him from every direction, so I ask you that you would take time out of your day to pray for him.
What Can You Do For Your Church
All of our churches see everything a little differently.
Your church might not open no matter what, or it might be like John MacArthur’s and stay open.
So what can you do?
Go to your church Elders and respectfully bring them your concerns.
Be prepared to give the information and resources they ask for.
Not all churches will agree with opening back up no matter how you put it.
WWJD
What Would Jesus Do?
First we should ask What Did Jesus Do?
He was born holy, he lived without sin according to the and then he bore the wrath of God for our sins on the cross dying a perfect death in our place.
He became the perfect and complete sacrifice for our sins and then conquered death by rising again.
He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is ruling over all creation.
As I quoted before Mark 12:17 “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s”
The Church belongs to God and is not under the authority of the government.
(A great book about this that you should read is God and Government By Gary DeMar.)
So even someday in the future when all of our Christians liberties are taken away and we are not allowed to legally worship Christ, we as Christians must break from Caesars (government) tyranny and submit to Christ the Lord and worship Him.
How To Help
The best way to help right now is to pray.
Romans 12:12 “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”
America needs to pray fervently without ceasing.
Ephesians 6:10-12 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

I agree with you, but try to make sure your own opinion doesn’t interfere how you read what the bible and Jesus says

What do you mean? I believe that everyone’s personal view(opinion) is why we have different denominations and not just one. It helps everyone see the bible for themselves and not through the eyes of a different person.

What i mean is try to study the times along with the bible so you have a better chance of knowing what is actually means. However, if Jesus is speaking to you through otherwise irrelevant verses, that’s fine
